Pre-Christmas activities

Of course, there was Winterhaven as there is every year. We walked around looking at lights for a little while as usual, but the fun started when we got to mommy's friend's house. Kristen was having an open house in Winterhaven. That meant hot chocolate, cookies and playtime with her almost 2-year old and almost 4-year old daughter and son. We stayed out really late but had lots of fun!

A new tradition was started this year with the Lamoreaux's. Disney Lane is another decoration packed neighborhood that we drove and walked through. It was nice because there were no crowds and it wasn't overwhelming. We just might do it again next year!

Then, our street Christmas pagaent was 2 nights before Christmas. As usual, Santa landed on our neighbor's rooftop, then sang & danced and threw candy to all the kids. It was cool. The best part was that after Santa said goodbye to all the other kids, he came to my house to tell me goodnight and that he'd leave presents for me soon! Mommy even got excited when she answered the door. This was one real-lookin' Santa. :)

Our house all lit up.

Let us know if you go to Disney Lane this Christmas since it's on our side of town.
